Scheduling a meeting in Teams is simple.
Firstly, keep in mind that whatever you schedule in Outlook or through your Teams calendar is connected.
There are few ways to schedule a call. In this video, Paul demonstrates how to schedule a meeting through the Teams calendar. You can also initiate a call on-the-spot via chat by clicking the video call or call icon located at the top right of the chat toolbar.
- Click on the calendar icon on the left side of the app and select new meeting in the top right corner.
- Create a meeting title.
- Add everyone that you would like to invite.
- Input the start and end time.
- If you would like to invite everyone in an entire channel, simply enter the channel’s name.
- Click send.
To start your meeting:
- Go into your calendar.
- Click join the meeting.
Yes! You can invite external users who do not have a Teams license. We will share another video clip on that topic next week.
