Microsoft opens Canadian datacentres

Smart Dolphins welcomes the opening of Microsoft’s first Canadian datacenters. On May 10th, Microsoft announced that it is now officially open to power even more Canadian organizations. Two datacentres have opened, offering Microsoft Azure and Office 365 with locations in Toronto and Quebec City.

This is big news, especially for not-for-profits, healthcare, insurance and other sectors that were previously unable to use Microsoft office 365 due to privacy and data sovereignty regulations. We will now be able to work more closely with our non-profit clients to help them leverage Microsoft office 365 and other services that will offer cost savings, efficiency and reliability.
