Pod Pointer – Find the source of an online image

Category : | Posted : Jun 6, 2013

Have you ever seen an image online and wondered what it was, or where it came from?  Well, wonder no longer, with Google’s reverse image search.

To find the origin of that captivating (or just really weird) image, all you need to do is:

– Open a new tab and go to http://google.ca

– Click the Images tab

– Drag the image you’re curious about from the webpage you found it on into the area that says Drop image here (the area only appears while you drag the image onto the web page)

Bonus:  You can also use this to find other images similar to the one you’ve found.
