In 2008, Smart Dolphins was crowned “Member of the Year” by VIATeC. We are huge proponents of VIATeC so this was a big honour. In fact, we still promote this wonderful recognition in our email signatures to this day. Hopefully, we’ll be changing our email signatures soon…

We are very excited to announce that we are one of two finalists for Employer of the Year at this year’s VIATeC awards! One of my objectives for Smart Dolphins was to create a great place to work. So even being a finalist is wonderful validation of the efforts put in thus far.

Of course a company does not become a great place to work or win awards because of one person (at least certainly not because of just me). So a big thank you to the whole team for making Smart Dolphins a great place to park our careers.

The VIATeC annual awards are going to be held at the Victoria Conference Centre on May 31st. For anyone who hasn’t ever been, you need to understand that this is not just a regular awards ceremony.
