Firefox comes with a great search feature that many people don’t know about.  It requires very little effort to set up, so let’s get right into it and you can see for yourself!

If there’s a search you use a lot (in our example, we’ll use IMDB.com’s people search), you’ll love this tool:

– Browse to IMDB.com

– Right-click on the main search box and select Add a Keyword for this Search…

– Give the shortcut a name and an easy-to-type and easy-to-remember keyword (let’s say actor) and save it.

– Now, when you want to do an actor search, go to Firefox’s address bar, type actor and the name of the actor and press return.

Instant search! You can do this with any search box.
