October 1, 2023 – Price Increase to Support Microsoft 365 Account Security
Amidst the increasing wave of cyberattacks targeting Microsoft 365 accounts, we are proactively introducing a security measure to fortify the protection of your valuable data and digital assets.
The Challenge:
While multi-factor authentication (MFA) offers a robust defense, attackers continually discover new ways to compromise M365 accounts. These breaches often go unnoticed for extended periods, amplifying the potential harm.
Such breaches inevitably lead to the theft of both organizational and personal data, financial losses stemming from sophisticated social engineering tactics, reputational damage, and a myriad of other adverse consequences.
Our Solution:
We have partnered with a third-party vendor to offer a 24/7 security enhancement designed to promptly identify compromised Microsoft 365 accounts. While no security measure is completely foolproof, this platform has demonstrated its effectiveness during testing in a live environment by detecting two mailboxes exhibiting suspicious behavior. This enabled the affected business to address the vulnerability and minimize potential damages.
Implementation & Cost:
We will be rolling out this layer of defense at a fee of $4/month per licensed Microsoft 365 user.
Opting Out:
We are committed to swiftly implementing this initiative, believing it to be beneficial for all clients utilizing M365. Should you wish to opt out of this security enhancement or discuss it further with us, please inform us by September 30th. In the absence of an opt-out request, we will proceed with the enhancement in October.
