Use a virtual printer to create your own PDF documents with this quick tip! PDF (Portable Document Format) is a file format that isn’t going away any time soon, and is an excellent way to make sure that what you see on your screen will look exactly the same on someone else’s screen. You have many options when it comes to PDF printer software, but today we’ll use CutePDF as the example: – Download and install CutePDF Writer (its free for commercial and non-commercial use) – From any application, choose File –> Print – When asked to select the printer, choose CutePDF Writer and press OK – You’ll be asked where to save your new PDF file Ta da! You’ve created your first PDF! Now your e-mail attachments may as well be wearing fancy ties and cufflinks!
