Before Windows 7, a maximized window was unmoveable unless you initiated a “restore down” to the window (clicking the “double box” looking button in the top right, next to the X you use to close a window). So lame. I found this particularly annoying with multiple monitors. During these ancient times, if I wanted to move a maximized window to a different screen, it was a myriad of clicking.
No longer do we have to face such drudgery. Now it’s just a “drag”. Windows 7 allows you to grab the title bar of any window and immediately move it wherever you like by simply dragging it (just like you drag and drop other things within Windows).
Utopia has arrived.
